Aim of workshop

The workshop will focus on recent experimental and theoretical results in the field of superconducting nano-electronics. The idea is to combine physics with present and future technological applications: both fundamental and applied aspects will be covered. Special emphasis will be given to quantum coherence and computing using small Josephson junctions, noise in ultrasensitive nanodevices, and possibilities of making use of superconductivity in various on-chip devices.

 

Registration

Participants are welcome to submit their recent results relative to the workshop topics. The participation is limited to about 150 attendants.  The Registration Fee is $250.00 =(US dollars, or the equivalent in Lire), it includes abstract booklet, proceedings, and social event. A special reduced fee for Ph.D. students is $150.00  it includes abstract booklet, and  proceedings.  The registration form must be sent to the Secretariat within April 15, 2001. Travel and Accommodation Arrangements

Those planning to attend the Workshop are strongly recommended to schedule their travel plans well in advance.  Naples International Airport has direct connections with many European cities. Please communicate your data (name, surname, Hotel's category requested, arrival and departure dates) as soon as possible: we can't garantee any accomodation for requests received after April 15, 2001.
