Aim of workshop

The aim of the workshop is to report on the recent theoretical and experimental results on the macroscopic quantum coherence of macroscopic systems. Particular attention will be given to the coherence effects in Josephson systems. The correlation with other atomic and molecular systems, exhibiting a macroscopic quantum coherence behaviour, is also discussed. Such proposals will be considered for implementation of various schemes for coherent information processing and quantum computation.

 

Registration

Participants are welcome to submit their recent results relative to the workshop topics.

The participation is limited to about 150 attendants.

 The Registration Fee is  Euro 300 , it includes abstract booklet, proceedings, and social event. A special reduced fee for Ph.D. students is Euro 160. The registration form must be sent to the Secretariat within April 20, 2002.

Travel and Accommodation Arrangements

Those planning to attend the Workshop are strongly recommended to schedule their travel plans well in advance.  Naples International Airport has direct connections with many European cities. Check this website for Travel Information on how to reach Naples.

Participants are advised to contact Mrs.Mazzarella for hotel reservation, so that she can compose a list of all participants. Please communicate your data (name, surname, Hotel's category requested, arrival and departure dates) as soon as possible: we can't garantee any accomodation for requests received after April 20, 2002. A list of hotels contacted by the organizers can be found under Hotel. Due to the great shortage of hotel rooms in Naples during the month of June,  participants are KINDLY URGED  to secure as soon as possible their accommodation by contacting the Secretary
of the Meeting or directly the hotel preferred.
